Katie is a passionate educator whose career has seen her leading wellbeing and curriculum in high performing independent schools globally. Most recently, Katie spent five years at the Australian International School in Singapore where she served in the role of Head of Year 12 and External Learning Coordinator. She has a passion for academic care and student wellbeing and understands the importance of nurturing each individual student in providing a positive and safe environment for them to flourish and thrive in learning.

It was after 5 years working as a business and project manager in the UK that Katie retrained as a teacher. Her teaching expertise shines in the field of Economics and Business where she has held positions as lead teacher and an External Examiner. Katie worked in a school in the UK that supported students with complex behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties before moving to China where she served in the position of Head of a girls Boarding House at Malvern College. Katie then moved to Muscat in Oman before joining the Australian International School in Singapore. She emigrated to Australia in 2023 with her family where she joined the Moreton Bay College community. Katie’s approach to wellbeing is holistic, reflecting her commitment to nurturing overall development of students. She is well versed in the principals of the International Baccalaureate and also holds a Diploma in Early Years education complemented by a Masters in Education.
