The Moreton Bay College P&F Association is an important part of our College Community.

The MBC P&F Association is devoted to developing a community of parents, friends, staff and students. Their aim is to both ‘friend’ raise and fund-raise ultimately seeking ways to enhance our girls learning experience while strengthening our vibrant community.

MBC P&F High Tea

On 6 June 2021, the P&F hosted its annual High Tea Fundraiser event at Victoria Park. The afternoon featured exquisite food and drinks, a fantastic fashion installation from Brisbane Arcade, raffles and silent auctions and an inspiring conversation hosted by Georgie Lewis. This event raised over $30,000 with funds used to assist in supporting resources from the College’s Wish List.

P&F Colour Run

In 2021 the MBC P&F is extremely proud to have hosted its first Colour Run. It was a huge success with a flurry of laughter and colour, and was so well received by the MBC Community. We enjoyed seeing our girls’, parents and staff members having so much fun together.

On top of hosting their major fundraising event the P&F also run a number of services to the College Community throughout the year. These include but are not limited to:

  • Mother's Day Stall
  • Father's Day Stall
  • School Banking through Commonwealth Bank Dollarmites programme
  • Canteens at various College events

All P&F meetings are to be held in the Eric Bingham Community Room at the Primary Library, commencing at 7.00pm, unless otherwise advised. A brief executive meeting will be held at 6.45pm to approve any financials.

P&F AGM Notice

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Moreton Bay Colleges Parents & Friends' Association Inc will be held at 7.00pm on Wednesday 10 November 2021 in the Primary Library. The business to be transacted at the AGM will be:

  • the receiving of the financial statements of the Association for the last financial year; and
  • the receiving of the auditor's report on the financial affairs of the Association for the last financial year;
  • the presenting of the audited statement to the meeting for adoption; and
  • the election of members of the management committee.

To nominate for the management committee, please email pnfsecretary@mbc.qld.edu.au for a nomination form. All nomination forms must be received by Tuesday 26 October 2021.

Parent Representatives

The Parent Representative Role is simply to help enrich families’ experiences at Moreton Bay College by providing a social link between the school and families.

While the role is mainly social, the parent representatives for each year level work together to:

  • Support the work of the MBC P&F Association and the support groups
  • Coordinate informal social events, providing parents and carers with opportunities to meet others with sons in the same year level
  • Welcome and help integrate new families our vibrant MBC Community
