Our curriculum is designed and tailored to provide a seamless transition for each girl, with the end goal that every student achieves her desired post-school destination. The common core curriculum subjects are enhanced with subjects such as Religious Education, Design Technology, Languages and Enterprise Education and co-curriculars such as Programming, Debating or Duke of Edinburgh further develop the whole student.

Moreton Bay College is a member of the Queensland Girls’ Secondary Schools Sports Association (QGSSSA) and the Andrews Cup Association. The majority of sporting competitions are conducted by these Associations, while others are operated by a range of sports associations and State sporting organisations. Many students also gain representative honours through District, Regional, State and National sporting pathways.

Drama, Dance and the Arts

Moreton Bay College is proud of the breadth and depth of its Arts and Cultural programmes. Participation in these activities contributes to the development of the whole person and promotes lifelong learning through engagement with the Arts and other cultural spheres.

The annual Art Showcase, Green-ware, gives all Primary and Secondary Visual Arts students the opportunity to display their work.

Lovers of Drama take to the stage in the MBC Drama production or the biennial Moreton Bay Colleges joint Drama production with MBBC. Junior and Senior Dance Troupes compete in regional, State and national competitions.
