Congratulations to Year 12 student Tenika, who has been awarded an Order of Australia Association’s Secondary Schools Citizenship Award. She recently attended a ceremony at Parliament House where she received her award.

With only 12 recipients state-wide, this is considered to be a very prestigious award, which recognises Queensland Secondary School students who have made significant contributions to society, through service to their school and their community by displaying great leadership in modelling and promoting good citizenship.

Joan Pease MP was also in attendance at the awards ceremony, and congratulated Tenika.
