Subject Selection Information 

Please ensure your daughter has reviewed and selected her subjects for 2022. For girls joining Years 7 and 8, a Language selection is the only requirement For girls joining Years 9, 10 or 11, elective subjects will be required. Please nominate selections on the relevant Subject Line sheet and return to the Registrar.

Moreton Bay Colleges Music Programme 2022

The Cocurricular Music Handbook for 2022 will be available shortly. It explains the music programme in detail, particularly in respect to ensembles, rehearsal times, and audition processes. It also contains information for individual instrumental or vocal tuition.

Individual Music Tuition

New students to the Colleges should complete the online enrolment form if they wish to take private instrumental or vocal lessons. 

Auditions

Auditions for new students to the Colleges in 2022 will be held in the first week of Term 1, 2022. Students should register for their audition by completing the online form. Upon receiving a completed audition form we will be in touch to arrange an audition time.

Please note that the following choirs do not require an audition: MBC Training Choir (Year 1 & Year 2 students), MBC Primary Choir (Year 3 to Year 6 students), MBBC Primary Choir (Year 3 to Year 6 students). Please email music@moretonbaycolleges.qld.edu.au to register your interest for these ensembles.

Immersion Programme (Years 4 & 5)

Instrument selection for all students joining Years 4 or 5 in 2022 will occur during the first weeks of Term 1. Students will complete this process during class music time.
