Effective learning - 12 May 2016
Effective learning requires focused teaching with the necessary adjustments for the identifiable needs of the individual students catered for. Academic Progress - 14 April 2016
I trust that everyone has had a lovely break full of the Christian purpose of Easter. It was terrific to see children in the playground refreshed and excited to be back at school. In my assemblies this week I have been encouraging students to reflect on Term 1 and the rich feedback that they have received from their teachers about their academic progress. Interim report cards, feedback on assessment and teacher notes on criteria sheets are all forms of formal feedback. Informal feedback can be even more powerful in that it can be in real time.
